Overview
Suppon no Yurei is a Nagoya apparition. A man who loved eating softshell turtle visits a turtle shop and sees the owner with a turtle-like face and unnaturally long ghostly legs.
Encounter
The man enters the shop as usual, notices the owner's face looks like a turtle, then sees the legs stretched strangely long. He flees home and keeps trembling for days.
Lore
Mizuki Shigeru introduced this as a Nagoya yokai. It draws on beliefs that softshell turtles are tenacious and may become ghosts if eaten excessively.
Traits
It appears to those who eat too many turtles. It does not directly attack, but the shock stays in the body for days.
The severed head bit into the master's throat, and the master died.
